SWANSEA HORNPIPE [3]. AKA and see "Rose of Drishane (The)." Irish, Hornpipe (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. County Cork cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman entered the tune in volume 3 (p. 98) of his large mid-19th century music manuscript collection as "Swansea Hornpipe", however he entered the same tune in his volume 1 (p. 244) with the title "A Welsh Hornpipe." Goodman researcher Lisa Shields points out that Goodman's "Enrico" in his volume 4 (p. 55) is close variant.
