THOUGHT. AKA - "Jackson's Thought." AKA and see "Cherish the Ladies," "Humors of Cappa (2) (The)."  Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC.  "Thought" was entered into a section of tunes dedicated to the compositions of late 18th century uilleann piper Waker "Piper" Jackson in Book IV (p. 2) of the large mid-19th century century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman.  Compare with "Cherish the Ladies" in Elias Howe's 500 Irish Melodies (p. 220) and other publications.
