JACK DOLAN ("Sean ua Dublain" or "Seagan ua Dunlaing"). Irish, Reel. E Minor/G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB.

Source for notated version: "McFadden" [O'Neill]. Chicago fiddler John McFadden was born in the 1850's in the townland of Carrowmore, a few miles north of Westport, County Mayo. His father and brother were also fiddlers, and, although McFadden never learned to read music, he had a wealth of tunes from family and others. He was blessed with an exceptional ear and learned tunes quickly, and was know for his ability to improvise and add variations, often never playing the tune the same way twice. McFadden also had a reputation as a practical joker.
