Osey Helton
ASHEVILLE. AKA and see "Flop-Eared Mule [1]." American, Reel (cut time). USA, North Carolina. Learned by Madison County, North Carolina fiddler Tommy Hunter from his grandfather. The name appears to be a local re-titling of the well-known "Flop Eared Mule," and Hunter's version is the same as Osey Helton's Broadway recording.
