USA; western Virginia (Grayson and Carroll Counties). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune, related to "Smith's Reel" and apparently derived from the Irish hornpipe "Kitty's Wedding," was recorded by legendary southwestern Virginia fiddler Emmett Lundy.
