GOLLIHER'S FROLIC. AKA - "Gollaher's Frolics." AKA and see "Gallagher's Frolic (3)," "O'Gallagher's Frolics." Irish, Double Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Don Meade points out the title is "a phonetic version of the Irish manner of pronouncing 'Gallagher's Frolic.'" The jig a a major-mode version of the tune usually known as "O'Gallagher's Frolics" in modern times (although the setting in Ryan's Mammoth works equally well in the minor key).
