A “Mrs. Greig’s Strathspey” is printed with “Mrs. Greig’s Reel” and credited (but not claimed) by this association to fiddler Peter Milne (1824-1908), a mentor and sometime playing partner of J. Scott Skinner, in Charles Middleton’s Selection of Strathspeys & Reels, etc., arranged Expressly . . . by Peter Milne, Violinist late of Aberdeen . . .
