LADY BOYD'S REEL. AKA - "Lady Boyes Rant." English, Reel or Rant. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The melody was first printed in David Rutherford's Rutherford's Compleat Collection of 200 country Dances, vol. 2 (1760, p. 66).

Source for notated version: the 1770 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian musician William Vickers, about whom, unfortunately very little is known [Seattle].
