JAN'S TUNE. Old-Time, Two-Step {?}. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Silberberg): AABB (Milliner & Koken, Phillips). The tune was collected by Brad Leftwich from the playing of fiddler Tom Fuller of Mena, Arkansas, as an untitled tune. Leftwich recorded it as "Jan's Tune" after Tom's daughter, Jan, as it was her favorite tune. See also similarities in Marion Thede's "Oklahoma Run" and "Smoky Row." Parts reversed from each other in some versions.
