MISS MENZIES OF CULDARE(S) [1]. AKA and see "Mrs. Menzies of Culdare," "Mrs. Menzies of Culdare's," "Braes of Glendochart." Scottish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composition claimed by Niel Gow (1727-1807) in his First Collection, 2nd edition, 1801, however, the tune also appears in McGlashan's 1786 Third Collection as "Braes of Glendochart." Gow wrote other tunes for the family: see also “Mr. Menzies of Culdare/Mr. Menzies of Culdare‘s Reel.”
