LAST OF THE LOT, THE. AKA and see "Fairhaired Boy (1) (The)," "Buachaillín Bán (1) (An)," "Boys from Carrickroe (The)," "Cherry Grove Jig," "Cliffs of Moher," "Freheen Jig (The)." Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Breathnach states this setting of "Buachaillín Bán" "leaves much to be desired." With the parts reversed, the melody is better known as "Cliffs of Moher (The)." P.W. Joyce's "Cherry Grove Jig" is a close variant.
