Irish, English; Slip Jig. G Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The may be derived from an anti-whig song published by John Young in the Second Volume of the Dancing Master in 1713, entitled "Bunter's Delight (The)." The 'Leather the Wig' title means to thresh a wig; the hairpiece symbolizing the political Whig party.
