LEINSTER OUTCRY, THE (Gair Laigeannac). Irish, March (4/4 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Leinster was one of the five old provinces, once rival kingdoms, of Ireland, named after an ancient tribe of people called the Laigin. O'Neill (1903) prints 'Outcry' marches for each of the four ancient provinces; Leinster, Ulster, Connacht and Munster.
