Come to the Dance
COME TO THE DANCE (Tar Go d-Ti an Rince). Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB.
Source for notated version: Chicago fiddler Edward Cronin, originally from County Tipperary. Cronin was a weaver, machinest and composer and was one of O'Neill's chief informants for his collections-"he would play on for hours at a time such tunes as memory presented, his features while so engaged remaining as set and impassive as the sphinx." Cronin also boasted he never forgave nor forgot and injury. [O'Neill].
