MRS. CAMPBELL OF SHINNESS. AKA - "Miss Campbell of Sheeness," "Miss Campbell of Sheerness." Scottish, Pipe Jig. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was composed by Roderick Campbell. Shinness is near Lairg in Sutherland, in the north of Scotland. The tune is sometimes mistakenly called "Miss Campbell of Sheerness," a miss-hearing of the original title.
