MISS GORDON OF LESMORE. Scottish, Strathspey. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of a tune by this title in Robert Ross's 1780 collection (p. 9). In Glen's 2nd volume the tune was credited to Daniel McLaren.
