QUEEN'S POLKA [2], THE. AKA and see “Top of the Maol (The).” English, Polka. A Dorian: E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The "Queen's Polka" is the name given to the polka by Terry Teahan (1905-1989). Teahan, originally from Gleantann, County Kerry, was a pupil of Sliabh Luachra fiddle great Padraig O'Keefe, and learned to play fiddle and concertina, although was perhaps best known for his accordion playing.
