MAGIC SLIPPER [1], THE. AKA and see "Dan Galbey's," "Donegal Boys," "Groves of Mt. Talbot (The)," "I Wish I Never Saw You," "Maud Millar (2)," "Montua (The)," "Morrison's Reel (2)," "Mrs. Smullen's," "My Love is Fair and Handsome (1)," "Paddy McFadden's (1)." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is a member of a fairly large tune family whose most prominent member, nowadays, is the reel "Maud Millar (2)," printed in O'Neill's Dance Music of Ireland (1907, No. 480). The second strain is similar to "Katy Hill (1)."
