JOLLY RINGERS, THE. English, Air (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. "The Jolly Ringers" is a song composed by English composer Charles Dibdin (1714-1814) for his comic opera Castles in the Air. The prolific Dibdin was one of the most popular English composers of his era, whose operas were regularly performed in London theatres including Salder's Wells, Covent Garden, Drury Lane and the Haymarket.
