MARS AND VENUS. English, Country Dance Tune (4/4 time). E Dorian/Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in the Third Volume of the Dancing Master [1], 3rd edition (1726, p. 31), printed in London by John Young, heir to the Playford publishing concerns.
