LANGO LEE. NEW WAY. Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Unknown provenance. The "Lango Lee" tunes were identified as Irish; advertised as "a favourite Irish song" on song sheets, etc. "Lango Lee New Way" seems to be unique to Glasgow publisher James Aird's first collection (1782).
