NEWCASTLE VOLUNTEERS QUICK STEP, THE. Scottish, March (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune appears in a 1799 collection published by Thomas Calvert, a musican who lived in Kelso, Scotland.
