NEW STORACE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune appears in London publisher Thomas Preston's 1793 country dance collection. It was entered into the c. 1800 music copybook of musician William Patten (perhaps from Philadelphia, Pa.).
