MISS STEWART'S STRATHSPEY (PITTYVAICH). Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning. AAB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). Moyra Cowie (The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999) finds that Katherine Stewart was born to Ludovick and Margaret Stewart of Pittyvaich.
