NORTH END REEL. AKA and see "Betty Pringle's Pig (1)." American, Reel. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The composition credited to one J. Hand in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883), although clearly one of the ""Bennett's Favorite/Silver Spire" tune family. The first part of this tune is reminiscent of "Money Musk/Monymusk." Several tunes are credited to 'J. Hand' in the collection, although almost nothing is known about him.
