BLUE BIRD (SCHOTTISCHE). American, Schottische. USA, Arizona. C Major ('A' part) & G Major ('B' part) {Kartchner}: D Major ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part) {Ruth}. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABA. Learned by Arizona fiddler Kenner C. Kartchner around the turn of the 20th century. There were several "Blue Bird" schottische tunes published in the 19th century.
