CRÚ CAPAILL, AN (The Horse Shoe). Irish, Double Jig. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. As Kelly had no name for the tune, Breathnach supplied one of his own making. The Horse Shoe was the name of the shop John Kelly owned and ran in Capel Street, Dublin, just a few blocks from the Piper's Club and other notable musical venues.
Source for notated version: fiddler John Kelly/Sean O'Kelly (Dublin, Ireland) [Breathnach].
