NUBBIN RIDGE [2]. American, Reel. A reel in the repertoire of North Carolina fiddlers Marcus Martin and Manco Sneed. It bears no relation to "Nubbin Ridge (1)." Martin was recorded playing the tune in Swannanoa, North Carolina, in 1942 by Artus Moser (the tune called "Nubbin Ridge" in Field Recorder FRC502 Marcus Martin is mislabeled, and seems to be a version of "Cousin Sally Brown").
