OLD PLANTATION GIRLS. American, Slip Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Identified by 18th century Glasgow publisher James Aird as "Virginian." AKA and see "Cotton-Eyed Joe" (Ford), "The Rooster Called Rover" (Pa), "Rooster in the Strawpile" (Pa).
