GLADSTONE'S BILL. AKA and see "Grand Gates of Annesbrook (The)/Geataí Móra Annesbrook." Irish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in two versions, both having the same first part and differing second parts. One version appears in the Stephen Grier (1883) and Sutherland music manuscripts from County Leitrim, while the other appears in (a perhaps lost) manuscript from Larry Smith (Abbeylaragh, Co. Longford) [Brian McNamara].

Fr. John Quinn finds a nearly identical version of the melody, albeit set in dorian mode, in Breathnach/Small CRE IV as "Grand Gates of Annesbrook (The)/Geataí Móra Annesbrook," from the playing of Jack Wade

Source for notated version: Stephen Grier music manuscript collection (County Leitrim, 1883).

Recorded sources: Drumlin Records BMNCD2, Brian McNamara - "Fort of the Jewels" (2004).
