YOUNG BRIDGET (Brigid Og Na gCiabh). AKA and see "Bridget Cruise" (4). Irish, Slow Air or Planxty (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The composition is often attributed to blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738), although not by Belfast collector Edward Bunting.

Source for notated version: Edward Bunting noted the melody in 1792 from "an old man at Deel Castle."
