Irish, English, American; Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. A jig with an Irish provenance, albeit played in North America for contra dancing and in the Borders and north of England. The "Original One-Horned Sheep" is a distanced variant of this tune. See also the cognate first strain of "Pet in the Kitchen (The)."
