OVER THE BORDER [2]. AKA - "Ower the Border." AKA and see "Lairds Of Ryton (The)." Scottish, English; Slip Jig. England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The melody appears as "Lairds of Ryton (The)" in the c. 1812 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian musician John Bell.
