CAIRNGORM, THE. Scottish, Reel. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Composed by the great Scots fiddler-composer J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927), who explains that the cairngorm was "a gold scarf pin presented to the composer by an enthusiastic Perthshire amateur."
