ZEALAND. AKA and see "Noint the Teazer." English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune and dance instructions ("Longways for as many as will") under the "Zealand" title appears in the Third Volume of the Dancing Master [1], 2nd edition (p. 192), published in London by John Young in 1726. However, as "Noint the Teazer" it was printed by Young in the Second Volume of the Dancing Master (third and fourth editions of 1718 and 1728).
