WAGONER HORNPIPE. AKA - "Wagoner's Hornpipe." American, Hornpipe. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. A popular Texas fiddle tune, often heard played for contests. It was recorded in the 78 RPM era by Texas fiddler Eck Robertson, The Red Headed Fiddler's (in 1930, in Dallas, Texas, for Brunswick records, although the side was never issued), and Smith's Garage Fiddle Band.
