WAKE UP TO CAPE BRETON. Canadian, Canada, Cape Breton. E Mixolydian (‘A’ part) & E Dorian (‘B’ part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB. The tune was composed in 1992 by Cape Breton fiddler Brenda Stubbert for a local radio show of the same name, and has gathered some currency in modern Cape Breton sessions.
