PADDY "GO EASY" (Paidin Sasda). AKA and see “Beer Drinker (The),” “Jackson’s Stranger (1),” “Larry the Beer Drinker.” Irish, Double Jig. D Major ('A' and 'C' parts) & A Mixolydian ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. R.M. Levey printed the tune as “Beer Drinker (The)” in the 19th century, so perhaps the ‘go easy’ of the title is an admonition for moderation in drink. See also the related “Fiddler’s Heaven (1).”
