PAT CARNEY'S REEL. AKA and see “Braes of Glendochart (The)," "Braes of Glendochert (The)," "Paddy Murphy’s Wife (1),” "Joe Tanzy's Reel," “Mr. Menzies of Culdares.” Irish, Reel. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O’Neill prints the tune as “Paddy Murphy’s Wife.” The reel was recorded in New York in 1920 by violinist George Stehl (with orchestra) in a medley of reels and jigs (Columbia A2957).
