WATSON’S HORNPIPE. English, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The ‘A’ part is shared with “Miss Sackville’s Fancy.” The melody appears as an untitled hornpipe in the George Henry Watson (Swanton Abbott, Norfolk) music manuscript collection, c. 1850-80.
