PARODY. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA; Iowa, Nebraska. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Christeson's informant says this tune was often used by fiddlers as a substitute when requested to play "Devil's Dream (1)". Another version, from Pennsylvania, is printed by Bayard (1981, No. 426, p. 405) where it appears as an untitled schottische.
