PLANXTY DOBBINS (Pleraca Dobain). AKA and see "John O'Reilly (1)," "Molly Carew," “Planxty Reilly," "Wandering Bard (The).” (1). Irish, Air or Planxty (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. Composed by blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). The tune appears as “Planxty Reilly” in Belfast musician and collector Edward Bunting’s first and second collections (1796 and 1809, respectively).
