DIMPLE, THE. AKA - "Demeple." English, Reel. England, Northumberland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears in Northumbrian musician William Vickers' music manuscript collection (1770), although it had earlier been printed by Charles and Samuel Thompson as "Demeple."
