PORT A’ BHODAICH. AKA and see “Carle's Rant (The.” Scottish, Strathspey. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'CBB' (Kerr): ABCD (Athole, Gow, McGlashan). John Glen (1891) finds the earliest appearance of this tune in print in Alexander 'King' McGlashan's Collection of Strathspey Reels (1780/81).
