KISSING AND DRINKING [3]. AKA and see "Bounce Upon Bess," "Come All You Good Fellows," "Larry O Lashem," "Parson in His Boots (The)/Parson on His Boots (The)," "Priest and his Boots (1)/Priest in His Boots (1)," "Paddy's Trip from Dublin," "Rocking the Cradle (2)," "There are Sounds of Mirth," "Tivoli (The)," "Sagart na mBuataisi." Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Brendan Breathnach says it was a favorite tune of songsmiths; the multiplicity of titles probably has to do with the number of songs set to it. He points out there are four songs to it alone in Crosby's Irish Musical Repository (1808).
