PUDDING MAGGIE. AKA - "Pudding Moggie." Scottish, Strathspey. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest appearance of this tune in print in Robert Bremner's 1757 collection (p. 50). Paul Cranford notes the similarity of this tune with the strathspeys “Lady Mary Menzies Reel” and “Lucy Campbell's Strathspey (4).”
