Composed by Port Aconi, Cape Breton, fiddler Brenda Stubbert (b. 1959) for friend and fiddler Rannie MacLellan of Southwest Margaree, Cape Breton. See “Brenda at Southwest Margaree” for one of MacLellan’s compositions for Stubbert. The tune has gathered some currency among modern Cape Breton fiddlers.
