Irish, Double Jig. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Breathnach): AABB (Roche). A song version of the tune from the Scottish island of Uist was recorded by the group Capercaillie. "Dear Irish Boy (The)," a slow air, is a distant relative.
