MISS KATTY TROTTER. Scottish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by fiddler Robert 'Red Rob' Macintosh (born c. 1745), who doubtless was awarded his nickname because of having red hair. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printings of this tune in Neil Stewart's 1761 collection (p. 59) and Macintosh's own 1783 collection (p. 31).
