Irish, Double Jig. Petrie printed the tune as “The rebels’ march in 1798,” and Joyce gave it as “Punch for Ladies,” “Negus for Gentlemen” and “Humors of Glenflesk (The).” O’Neill calls it “Maguire's Kick” and “Ryan’s/Cole's” has it as “The Limerick Lass.” John Williams (on his self-titled solo album) recorded it as “The Lonesome Jig."
